There is no age limit in learning piano. In fact, studies have shown that there are a lot of physical and mental benefits in playing piano. It reduces stress, improves memory and boosts one's confidence.

There may be physical challenges for the elderly particularly eyesight and arthritis but those are only minor obstacles that can easily be overcome. Learning to play piano should be seen not as a chore but a simple pleasure in life. Approach it as a time to explore your musical side!

The lessons in this program are designed to work for complete beginners. As long as you have dedication and can allot time for practice, there is no reason for this program not to work for you.

The minimim requirement to be able to enjoy your instrument is an electronic keyboard with atleast 61 keys. but If you can acquire a real acoustic piano (88 keys), the more you will appreciate the music you play. Since you are just starting out, you can try it first with a keyboard and then upgrade as necessary

The frequency and the quality of your practice sessions are equally important. You should practice atleast 3x a week for about 15-20 minutes. Just like in learning other skills, the more time you practice, the faster you make progress. I will also be giving you guide lines on how to improve the quality of your practice and speed up the learning process.
